Associate Professor Alena Buchalcevova, Ing. Ph.D

graduated in 1981 at Prague University of Economics, Faculty of Management in the specialisation Information Systems Management. Since then she has been working at the faculty and at present she is associate professor at the Department of Information technologies. Her research field is object oriented analysis, design and programming, software development methodologies, software quality assurance, management of business informatics, Enterprise Architecture, and Green ICT. She is an author or co-author of 8 books, many journal articles and conference papers. She has been leading Software Quality Assurance competence centre since 2012.

Mgr. Jakub Balada, Ph.D.

Graduated at Prague University of Economics, Faculty of Informatics and Statistic. His specialization is agile methods of information system development. In his doctoral thesis he defined a Scrum extension for adoption at projects in complex environment. He also teaches Agile project management at VŠE.

Michal Doležel, MSc(Eng), MSM

earned his master’s degrees in Electronics and Communications Technology (BUT Brno) and Engineering Management (CTU Prague). At present, he is a doctoral candidate in Information Systems (Applied Informatics) at Prague University of Economics and Business. His research focuses on vendor management, software acquisitions, software quality management and influence of social context on IT client-vendor relationships. His work has been published in Information & Software Technology journal and several conferences. He teaches Software Quality Management course for master students. In the Software Quality Assurance competence center, he is responsible for cooperation with MSD Global Innovation Center. Complementary to his academic activities, he works in MSD as IT Testing Services Lead for EMEA. In total, he has more than 10 years of work experience in software quality management. Aside from the current position in pharma, he has been holding various related technical and management positions in the area of telecom systems development and in the IT development department of a big insurance company.

Ing. Jan Mittner

is a doctoral student (Applied Informatics) at the Prague University of Economics and Business. He deals with the improvement of processes in software development and as a part of his doctoral thesis proposes a framework for process improvement in small software companies. He also teaches web development using Zend Framework.

Ing. Roman Nedzelský

Is a doctoral student (Applied Science) at the University of Economics. He is a great fan of Microsoft technologies. Interested in implementation and integration of products, in portal solutions, with a focus on document management, collaboration, project management and possibilities of integrations of business systems, process analysis and self-Business and Business Intelligence. He is a big fan of cloud technologies and integration with on-premise environment. As lecturer/examiner in Prague University of Economics and Business he participates in teaching of “Analysis and Design of Information Systems” and “Portfolio Management and coordination of projects.

Ing. Petr Vodička

graduated at Prague University of Economics, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics in the specialisation of Information Technologies. His interest lies mostly in project management. After that, he’s also interested in quality management and software development.

Ing. Jan Ženíšek

graduated his master degree studies at Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economic, Prague. His major is “Information Systems and Technology”. His field of interests are SW development and quality assurance of mobile applications and integrations. He spent one semester at the University of Tel Aviv studying MBA program.

Bc. Lucie Čecháková

is a student of Master degree programme at VŠE, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, Department of Information Systems and Technologies. She is the most interested in the analysis and testing of information systems.

Bc. Martin Macháček

Is a student of Master degree program of Information Systems and Technology at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. He is interested mainly in the development and testing of software on the Java platform. Besides these he spends some time studying web technologies and programming in Assebler or Visual Basic. In his free time he enjoys doing sports and playing guitare.

Bc. Tomáš Michalička

studies the master’s degree program Information Systems and Technologies at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. He is interested in programming, especially in Java (Spring framework) and PHP.

Bc. Jan Pavelka

Is a student of Master degree program of Information Systems and Technology at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. One semester he studied Information Systems at Örebro University in Sweden. He is interested in programming (mainly in Java) and everything that is related to information technologies.

Bc. Jiří Široký

Is a student of Master degree program of Information Management at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. He is mainly interested in management of IT, BI and data consulting.

Bc. Vojtěch Votlučka

studies the master’s degree program Information Systems and Technologies at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. One of his main interests is IT, where he devotes himself to QA and SW testing. Apart from IT, he enjoys tennis or playing the piano. One of his biggest passions is also the study of languages, especially English, Spanish, German or Russian.

Bc. Alena Zikmundová

I study Econometrics and Operations Research major on the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the Prague University of Economics and Business. Despite the fact, that my major is not directly connected to information technologies, I have started software testing in my first year of study.

Alexandra Kolpakova

Is a student of Bachelor degree programme of Informatics at VŠE. She is interested in programming in Java and SQL. Currently she concentrates on testing of software.

Martina Krupová

Is a student of Bachelor degree programme of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. In the Quality Assurance competence centre she is dealing with human resources. Her other interests are music, books and sports.

Jan Pippal

Is a proud student of Bachelor degree programme of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. His brain doesn’t like results full of mistakes, that is why he is interested in testing and analysis. You can invite him to a football or a basketball match. Jan has always been a team player.

Anna Trudova

Is a student of Bachelor degree programme of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE. She is interested in programming on Java platform and testing of software. Her other interests are music, books and playing piano.

Petr Janáček

Is a student of Bachelor degree programme in Informatics at VŠE. His interest is testing of desktop applications, start up scene and cryptocurrencies.

Jiří Straka

is studying bachelor’s degree at Faculty of informatics and statistics, University of Economics. He is interested in new technologies and their usability in life and business.

Monika Tománková

At present I study bachelor’s degree of informatics at VŠE. In the field of IT I’m keen on programing in java and I’m also interested in a SW testing. My other hobbies are team sports, watching serials and playing the guitar.

Erik Ziegler

Studies bachelor’s degree of informatics at Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. He’s currently focused on testing software for mobile platforms. Apart from informatics, he’s interested in design, music or downhill.

studies the master’s degree program Information Systems and Technologies at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics. She’s interested in programming (particularly in Java) and information technology in general.

Bc. Lucie Hefnerová

I am a student of master’s programme of Information Technologies at the faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the Prague University of Economics and Business. I am interested in agile approaches to software development (especially Lean Software Development) and in (agile) project management – I became passionate about Design Thinking, which I particularly experienced during my semester abroad in France (ESCP Europe, campus Paris) and at my home university. Besides IT I enjoy snowboarding and sushi.

Bc. Kateřina Hofrichterová

Studies master’s specialization in Information Systems and Technology at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. Interests include project management in areas such as software quality, testing and monitoring network.

Miloš Halecký

Je studentem bakalářského ročníku VŠE v Praze, fakulty Informatiky a Statistiky. Jeho zálibou je programování v těchto programovacích jazycích: Java, JavaScript. V současnosti se učí a odhaluje možnosti Java EE. Mezi jeho další záliby patří IT, Bezpečnost IS, Linux, fotografování.
